Teen vaping could be nearing its end as government officials and public health supporters gather and feud over how rapid to smother out the booming e-cigarette craze.
Many Health groups have filed suit because of the lack of any kind of regulation on vaping products over the last 4 years.
Vape companies have produced new products at an alarming speed while enforcement is little to none.
It is reported that millions of High school and college kids are using electric Vaping devices that heat a liquid-based substance into a vapor that is then inhaled. These E-liquids tend to contain nicotine, but there are some that do not. E-cigarettes is the most used way to smoke tobacco among teens today. Almost 12% of high schoolers have used a vaping device in the past 30 days, according to national surveys.
This suggests that hundreds of thousands of teens are at a very “high risk” of becoming addicted to nicotine.
If you are over 40, we can all remember when cigarettes where popular or even cool when we were growing up, and then in the late 80’s to early 90’s a big anti cigarette push started and for good reason. We soon discovered that cigarettes weren’t so cool after all and could kill you. So will that anti E-cigarette become the same kind of push we saw in the 80’s and 90’s? Only time will tell.
Alternatives to cigarettes?
Vaping was originally designed to be used as an alternative to regular cigarettes because it is very easy to control the levels and ween a person off nicotine. This is something that can’t be done with straight tobacco.
It is unfortunate to see the youth today using a product that could be used for doing good like helping people quit smoking with vaping by slowly lowering nicotine levels over time.
Unfortunately vaping can also seem cool to kids and get people started into smoking instead of quitting.
So where does it go from here?
Cigarette stores are already not able to order or buy any more E-liquids from some of their major distributors, so people are already looking to buy their products online instead of in stores. “It is a large surge of business for the time being, but even now, I’m not sure I will be able to get products in the future,” according to Vape Liquid Reviews.
So what will the ban be and when will it happen? Vaping businesses could need to find a new way to make money soon as the hammer is starting to fall as we speak. Will it be the end of vaping all together? One would have to say no as there are still cigarettes, so until those are gone, vaping will remain. It will just be much harder and more expensive as time goes on.
