TAMARI Robatayaki & Whisky Bar, known to locals as “the gathering place,” is opening its doors for a rare, one-night-only event: The First Annual Master Chef Omakase. On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the standard menu will be set aside for a 20-seat collaboration between Chef Edward and Chef Richard.
In a city that runs on hard work, “Omakase” (meaning “I leave it up to you”) offers the ultimate cognitive reset. For two and a half hours, guests are invited to silence their notifications, pull up a chair, and let the chefs handle the rest.
“We wanted to create something unique for our community,” says Edward Yung, Founder and Owner of Tamari. “This is our way of saying thank you. We’ve handled every detail from the seasonal fish to the champagne, sake and special treat. Our guests can literally just pull up a chair and enjoy the evening.”
The Master Chef Journey Includes:
To maintain the grounded, intimate atmosphere that defines Tamari, the event is strictly limited to 20 seats.
