Arizona, United States – October 18, 2018 –<\/span><\/strong> The Arab American Organization has announced the new Miss Arab Universe Pageant, to be held in January 2020 in the United States, <\/span>which is <\/span>designed to showcase the beauty of you<\/span>ng Arab women from around<\/span> the world<\/span> <\/span>while taking<\/span> pageantry to a new level.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Arab American Organization, headquartered in Arizona, United States, has organized the Miss Arab pageant in the United States since 2010. The goal of the organization is to expand the <\/span>participation of Arab girls all over the world and to provide an avenue for young girls to achieve their charitable goals. The pageant will allow for the selection of an Arab woman to serve as an ambassador, of both humanity and goodwill, to represent Arab women and promote Arab culture worldwide. The title holder will develop a platform focused on serving women, children, and refugees worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. <\/span>Ashraf Elgamal<\/span>, <\/span>Founder and Executive P<\/span>roducer of <\/span>the <\/span>Miss Arab Pageant<\/span>,<\/span> <\/span>said the Miss <\/span>Arab <\/span>Universe <\/span>pageant <\/span>will <\/span>take pageantry to a new level by creating a pageant with a purpose. <\/span>According to Mr. Elgamal, a<\/span>ny Arab woman<\/span> will be able to<\/span> participate<\/span> directly<\/span> without obtaining a winning title in their country of residence.<\/span> <\/span>As<\/span> <\/span>the<\/span> Universe pageant <\/span>has yet to be organized in every country, <\/span>removing this requirement will<\/span> open participation to all Arab woman. <\/span>To participate, c<\/span>ontestants <\/span>must be<\/span> between the ages of 18 <\/span>and 28 years and of Arab origin.<\/span> Participation is open to any country. <\/span><\/p>\n

Miss Arab <\/span>U<\/span>niverse respects the traditions of<\/span> <\/span>Arabs<\/span> and the Arab culture. T<\/span>here<\/span>fore, traditional contests, like a swimsuit contest, will be removed<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>I<\/span>nstead<\/span>, such a content <\/span>will be replaced with participants wearing<\/span> the national <\/span>co<\/span>st<\/span>u<\/span>m<\/span>e<\/span> of their<\/span> <\/span>home <\/span>country<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
