Recently, the team completed a major job at a local apartment complex.<\/div>\n

Villa La Jolla, California –<\/strong> Pacific Flood Restoration services cover San Diego and most of the surrounding communities. “This was one of our more extensive jobs we have completed as a San Diego water damage service provider<\/a>. It is common to have water remediation service in apartments. Most of the time it is because of a single unit having an issue. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time,” said Michael Damico of Pacific Flood Restoration.<\/p>\n

The Villa La Jolla arm of the company answered a call at a local apartment complex. There was a tenant with wet carpet and moldy smells coming from the bathroom. Pacific Flood Restoration team used their commercial grade equipment to locate the source of the leak.<\/p>\n

What they learned was considerably more than the specialists had seen before in their regular services.<\/p>\n

“The tenant had more than one affected area in the apartment. We followed the water damage problem and learned three total units had damage,” continued Mr. Damico, Principal at Pacific Flood Restoration – the leading provider for water damage restoration services in San Diego<\/a> and several other cities throughout California.<\/p>\n

The ultimate source of the water damage was from a unit on the top floor of the apartment complex.  Each of the three units had four separate areas that needed water remediation services. Damico realized then this was no ordinary job for his company.<\/p>\n

“We got started. There were two tenants in two apartments, a property management company we contract with for services and two different owners. The source was a leak in the toilet lines from the top apartment,” said Damico.<\/p>\n

The service provider had to separate the job into two different phases because of the size and complexity. Each phase included one bathroom and one other room.<\/p>\n

The project seemed complete. But it wasn’t.<\/p>\n

“It turned out that top unit’s kitchen was not completed by the plumber. This reflooded the middle unit. No other unit was damaged,” said Damico.<\/p>\n

Michael Damico had one more thing to add about this particular job.<\/p>\n

“It took us a total of two months from start to finish. It is not common to see this much water damage in San Diego<\/a>, even for a water damage service provider”, he added.<\/p>\n
