E-commerce records were smashed by Alibaba on its Singles Day sale recently, despite an ongoing US\/China trade war.<\/p>\n

The 2018 edition of the 11\/11 Singles Day Sale brought in a record $30.8 billion (213.5 billion yuan), beating Amazon’s Prime Day, as well as both US shopping holidays Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined.<\/p>\n

The record $30.8 billion in sales marks a 27-percent increase from 2017.<\/p>\n

Boasting 666 million active monthly users, Alibaba has users totaling more than twice the population of the US, which definitely helped.<\/p>\n

Alibaba’s main rival, JD.com, with backing from Walmart, Google, and Tencent, also posted its own Singles Day volume of $23 billion (160 billion yuan).<\/p>\n

This proves the market for the Asian-based e-commerce company, V-MORE as it has a strong focus on South-east Asia, including China and it will begin to flex its muscle on V-MORE’s Black Friday Extravaganza Sale starting on 19th<\/sup> November 2018.<\/p>\n

Although no V-MORE Singles Day sale was planned this year, it will be a goldmine that will not be ignored in 2019 and plans are already in the works to present its version of the sale in a brand new, soon to be revealed way.<\/p>\n
