Gooden Wellness Center – La Crescenta, is the only subacute, women’s only residential mental health program in the area.<\/div>\n

For the first time in Gooden Center’s history, women who need mental health treatment will have the opportunity to get help in a subacute, residential setting in a recovery center run exclusively by women. The community has welcomed Gooden Wellness Center – La Crescenta with open arms.<\/p>\n

Gooden Wellness Center – La Crescenta, is a six-bed facility with a non-hospital feel in a comfortable, private home setting with female therapists. The intimate home is surrounded with fruit trees in a beautiful neighborhood just outside of the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Individualized treatment and therapies offered include DBT, ACT, CBT, trauma therapy, one-on-one sessions, holistic recovery, and medication education and monitoring as well as community integration.<\/p>\n

“We provide residential, outpatient, and transitional living treatment to women with psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood and thought disorders, etc.” – spokesperson from the center.  “This is a truly wonderful environment to receive treatment and in many cases, recover completely.”<\/p>\n

Through intense clinical, holistic, and experiential therapies, The Gooden Center provides the tools needed uniquely for women to gradually re-enter society and have an independent, fulfilling, and productive future. Aftercare and support continues long after the program for patients and their family. Gooden is in network and a preferred provider for most insurances, including: Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Blue Shield, Cigna, UBH, Optum, Value Options, Healthnet, and Magellan.<\/p>\n
