February 11, 2019 –<\/strong> In the ever-connected age of the smartphone, it seems next to impossible to really connect with people very often. Fortunately, in Charlotte at least, a group of positive-minded locals are revolting against this trend with their community group The Neighborhood. The Neighborhood sets up local get-togethers at interesting places where people can meet each other and enjoy conversations and make connections of all kind.<\/p>\n

With their last 2018 evening attracting over 70 people, there’s serious anticipation surrounding their first of 2019, to be held on February 20th<\/sup>, starting at 5:30 PM at the Single Barrel Room inside the Whiskey Warehouse, which some are calling “the best-kept secret of Plaza Midwood”. For sure, not something for Charlotte locals to miss.<\/p>\n

“This is a great chance to catch some real face time with cool people right here in Charlotte,” commented the Founder of The Neighborhood, Rich Jakiel. “This is an amazing city with too many amazing businesses to list and here’s a chance to find out about them in a very cool environment. Everyone is talking about the Single Barrel Room.”<\/p>\n

Many local businesses bring prizes for people who attend to add to the fun.<\/p>\n
