Rea & Associates announced that Paul Weisinger, one of the company\u2019s principals, was named to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants\u2019 (AICPA) Business Valuations Committee. Weisinger will serve in this role until May 2020.<\/div>\n

Cleveland, OH – July 11, 2019 –<\/strong> Rea & Associates recently announced that Paul Weisinger, a principal at the firm’s Cleveland office, was named to AICPA’s Business valuations committee, effective until May 2020. Rea said that this appointment is an honor for Weisinger, who holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cleveland State University.<\/p>\n

Rea & Associates<\/a> also shared that the AICPA Business Valuations Committee provides expert guidance to CPAs who seek to offer valuation services. The company also indicated that AICPA helps CPAs stay up-to-date on the latest laws and regulations affecting valuation services.  AICPA’s Business Valuations Committee also seeks to increase awareness, demand, and growth for CPAs who offer valuation services.<\/p>\n

According to Rea & Associates, Weisinger will serve a 12-month term on the committee. During his term, Weisinger will take part in monthly calls with other members of AICPA’s Business Valuations Committee, and will travel to New York City, Washington, D.C., and South Carolina for meetings.<\/p>\n

Regarding Weisinger’s commitment to the Business Valuations Committee, Richard Lash, Rea’s regional president in Northeast Ohio, was quoted as saying, “Paul continues to strive for excellence. Joining the AICPA’s BV Committee further demonstrates his dedication to the profession and to his clients. He will have an influential role by offering his expertise to spread valuable knowledge to CPAs looking to offer valuation services.”<\/p>\n
