The NFIB\u2019s 2019 Small Business Optimism Index shows, once again, that small businesses consider managing employee healthcare as their biggest challenge. Yet, Talia Adika, Partner at TY Health Insurance Brokerage, said that her mission is to change that statistic \u2013 one client at a time.<\/div>\n

UNITED STATES –<\/strong> Founded in 1980, TY is <\/span>an international health insurance brokerage that <\/span>caters to small to mid-sized businesses, sole proprietors and freelancers. It <\/span>offers <\/span>plans and products from most major health insurers and ancillary services providers as well as wellness services like yoga at work and diet and nutrition coaching. Less traditional products and services like short- and long-term disability, medical bridge, HRA\/HSA administration, COBRA administration, payroll services and more are also available through its extensive partner network.<\/span><\/p>\n

Small businesses have unique needs and we help them fully understand their options and share our recommendations and offer guidance based on our expertise in the industry. And Adika speaks from the heart. In fact, she considers TY – which is short for “Thank You” – a labor of love and her calling. The business has been in her family for nearly 40 years. It was founded and operated by her uncle for 32 years before she took the reins in 2012 after amassing broad experience managing benefits and payroll and recruiting employees internationally for a major pharmaceutical company. She also earned two master degrees in organizational leadership and labor and industrial relations from Southern New Hampshire University and Cornell University, respectively.  <\/span><\/p>\n

“As technology continually advances, personal service often goes by the wayside – but not at TY. My uncle founded the company on industry expertise, passion and a neighborly approach and I will ensure we never lose sight of that,” she stressed. <\/span><\/p>\n
