Top honor given to ranch brokers Ken Mirr and Chris Corroon for the sale of the 12,740-acre Wasatch Peak Ranch\n<\/div>\n

Denver, Colorado –<\/strong> Mirr Ranch Group is proud to announce one of its recent sales, Wasatch Peaks Ranch, was named 2018 Deal of the Year by The Land Report. The property features 20 square miles of pristine alpine terrain within Utah\u2019s famed Wasatch Mountains and boasts more ski terrain than Vail. Initially listed for $46,000,000, the ranch sold to Wasatch Peaks Ranch LLC, a group of investors intending to develop a private ski resort, similar to the Yellowstone Club located in southeastern Montana.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou just don’t find this type of location in the West very often – untouched and raw with river, trees, adjacency to National Forest and an alpine setting,\u201d said listing broker, Ken Mirr of Mirr Ranch Group, who listed the Utah ranch with his firm\u2019s Utah Marketing Affiliate, Chris Corroon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Owned by the heirs of the late Dick Bass, the seven-summit pioneer, original investor in Vail, and founder of Snowbird Ski Resort, and the Holding family, owners of Sinclair Oil Company, which owns Sun Valley Resort, nearby Snowbasin Ski Resort, the Wasatch Peaks Ranch has a continuous ridgeline of 11 miles that includes 24 peaks, 15 bowls and cirques, plus a 4,600 foot vertical rise on the ranch and adjacent National Forest. It’s only 15 minutes from Ogden, and 35 minutes from Salt Lake City and its international airport, making this ski property incredibly accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n
