Ramos Arizpe – September 23rd<\/sup>, 2019 –<\/strong> Mexico is one of the world’s most important production locations for the automotive and supplier industries. Ideal framework conditions, qualified workforce and proximity to many customers make the country very attractive for players in the industry. Mexico is also an important location for BMTS and the company’s global strategy. The new production facility in Ramos Arizpe, in the Mexican state of Coahuila, is therefore to expand global capacity and create 500 new jobs.<\/p>\n

On September 5th<\/sup> 2019, Alexander Schmid, General Manager of the BMTS plant in Ramos Arizpe, and his team officially opened the new location. Since the beginning of 2019, the new plant in Ramos Arizpe has been under construction. On August 21st<\/sup> 2019, the first turbocharger already left the assembly line on site. Among the guests invited to the opening ceremony were representatives of the largest automobile manufacturers, regional media, suppliers, partners and guests from government and politics. The event included speeches by Coahuila’s Vice-Governor Jose Maria Fraustro, the Mayor of Ramos Arizpe, José María Morales Padilla and Günter Semeja, Managing Director of BMTS Technology. In addition, the participants were given a guided tour of the new production facility and the opportunity to exchange ideas with the BMTS management.<\/p>\n

The new BMTS plant in Ramos Arizpe will start its official operation on September 17th<\/sup> 2019 and will aim for an annual capacity of 2 million exhaust gas turbochargers.<\/p>\n
