Each year, the publication reaches out to its readers and asks them to vote in more than 175 categories for their selection of the &ldquo;Best of the Best&rdquo; in 2019 in San Diego County.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Announced September 22, <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stpaulspace.org\/\">St. Paul&rsquo;s PACE<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stpaulseniors.org\/\">St. Paul&rsquo;s Senior Services<\/a> earned several awards, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>&ldquo;Best&rdquo; In-home Care &ndash; Non-Medical (St. Paul&rsquo;s PACE)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>&ldquo;Favorite&rdquo; Assisted Living Community (St. Paul&rsquo;s Villa in Bankers Hill)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>&ldquo;Favorite&rdquo; Retirement Community\/Independent Living (St. Paul&rsquo;s Plaza in Chula Vista)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><br \/>The San Diego Union-Tribune<\/em> &ldquo;recognizes not only the top vote-getters or &lsquo;Best&rsquo; in each category, but those that are considered &lsquo;Favorites,&rsquo; having received votes and thus recognition in each category.&rdquo;&nbsp; St. Paul&rsquo;s PACE was chosen as THE Best in-home eldercare services.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Carol Hubbard, Executive Director of St. Paul&rsquo;s PACE, was extremely proud of the award, &ldquo;Our Home Care providers care for San Diego&rsquo;s most frail and low-income seniors. They are Certified Nursing Assistants, so they are doing more than personal care, cleaning, and meals; they have a medical eye on our participants to be sure they are taking medications and are safe at home.
