{"id":170331,"date":"2019-09-25T22:36:05","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T22:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.georgianewsdesk.com\/news\/story\/170331\/highly-efficient-transportation-network-built-to-serve-beijing-daxing-intl-airport.html"},"modified":"2019-09-25T22:36:05","modified_gmt":"2019-09-25T22:36:05","slug":"highly-efficient-transportation-network-built-to-serve-beijing-daxing-intl-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.honolulunewsnow.com\/news\/story\/170331\/highly-efficient-transportation-network-built-to-serve-beijing-daxing-intl-airport.html","title":{"rendered":"Highly efficient transportation network built to serve Beijing Daxing Int\u2019l Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" src=\"https:\/\/i.ibb.co\/fdcHs7k\/1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"554\" height=\"554\" \/>T<\/em><em>he <\/em><em>aerial<\/em><em>&nbsp;photo shows the Beijing Daxing International Airport that is scheduled to start operation soon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Beijing Daxing International Airport has opened its&nbsp;doors to global passengers&nbsp;on Sept. 25, 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">46 kilometers away from Tian&rsquo;anmen, traditionally considered the center of Beijing, the new mega airport is seemingly remote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">However, it takes as rapidly as19 minutes to arrive at the airport from downtown Beijing, thanks to a newly constructed subway line that has completed test runs and is able to operate as fast as 160 kilometers per hour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Apart from the subway line, a &ldquo;tridimensional&rdquo; transportation system featuring rail transit, inter-city railways and expressways will be serving the airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The system enables passengers to arrive at the airport from Beijing and Xiong&rsquo;an New Area within half an hour, and those from the key cities of the Beijing-Tianjin-Heibei region, such as Shijiazhuang, Tangshan and Baoding can also reach the airport in less than&nbsp;an hour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Besides, multiple bus routes will be put into use to facilitate the transportation of the airport, covering major cities around it, including Tianjin, Tangshan and Baoding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Now, the Beijing Daxing International Airport Expressway, a two-way eight-lane motorway&nbsp;that&nbsp;spans approximately 27 kilometers&nbsp;has been put into operation.
