San Diego, CA –<\/strong> On Sunday, October 13, 2019, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and Family Health Centers of San Diego will celebrate their 13th annual ¡Vivetuvida! <\/em>Get Up! Get Moving!®<\/sup> event at Logan Heights Family Health Center in San Diego with a very special guest – Walkaround Elmo from Sesame Street®<\/sup>!<\/p>\n

As a special feature, the 2019 San Diego ¡Vivetuvida!<\/em> Get Up! Get Moving!®<\/sup> event will feature Walkaround Elmo from Sesame Street®<\/sup> to greet children and a pavilion where parents can get free Sesame Street in Communities <\/em>resources. “We’re thrilled to partner with the Alliance to help children and families in San Diego celebrate healthy habits,” said Dr. Jeanette Betancourt, Senior Vice President of US Social Impact, Sesame Workshop. “We’re excited that Sesame Street in Communities is part of this tremendous effort to give children and families the tools they need to thrive.”<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Alliance is bringing the All of Us<\/em> Research Program<\/a> to the event. All of Us<\/em> is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the US to accelerate research and improve health. “The participation of diverse communities in All of Us<\/em> will help build the foundation for a new era of health care where medicine is tailored to each person. We proud to bring the All of Us<\/em> pavilion to San Diego,” said Dr. Jane L. Delgado, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, the nation’s leading Hispanic health advocacy group.<\/p>\n
