Online shopping on e-commerce platforms such as Taobao is really a common thing for Chinese nowadays.  However, if you are a foreigner who doesn’t know Chinese, it is not so simple, because China Taobao is not English Taobao<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Life in China is great, but it can be very difficult, because everything is designed around Chinese,” Jay Thornill, an American, admitted frankly to the interface fashion.<\/p>\n

Foreigners have natural language barriers when shopping on Chinese e-commerce platforms such as Taobao and Tmall, and there is no special English e-commerce platform in the Chinese market. Many foreigners in China also do not know much about Taobao’s overseas edition. Even Amazon China (Amazon.cn), which used to be closest to the English-speaking world, is just inserting some English words into the Chinese-based web pages, which is better than nothing.<\/p>\n

China’s e-commerce environment has now entered an era of full competition, and the winner-take-all situation has basically been established.  Amazon China just announced in April this year that it would close its business in China, marking a defeat for the invincible e-commerce giant in the global market.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Amazon’s e-commerce business in China has been losing ground as China’s local e-commerce businesses Taobao, Tmall, Jingdong have developed vigorously and fought fiercely.  After missing several important time points for the development of e-commerce in China (e.g. platform trend), Amazon China has worn away the patience of its partners, gradually lost Chinese consumers, and finally lost its living space in the e-commerce market.<\/p>\n

Before yrbuy<\/span><\/a>, most foreigners who did not understand Chinese would let Chinese friends pay for the purchase first, and then pay back the money to their friends.<\/p>\n

In the early days, yrbuy<\/span><\/a> operated by capturing information on Taobao and Tmall platforms and then translating them into English.  Yrbuy<\/strong> also provides customers with a customer service center to help them speed up transactions and logistics.  Customers will be charged a 5% service charge for each product they buy.<\/p>\n

Yrbuy<\/span><\/a>‘s total sales volume in 2018 was 70 million yuan, about 6 times that of three years ago.  In its fourth year, Yrbuy<\/span><\/a> currently has 45,000 registered users, 600,000 cumulative orders and 2.6 million products sold.  In other words, each registered user buys 59 items on average.  Yrbuy<\/strong> has a high level of user activity.  Yrbuy<\/strong> may become the best Taobao agent and the cheapest Taobao agent in the future.<\/p>\n
