Earth has been in the grip of accelerating inequality for a century. Politicians and religious organizations support policies benefiting the few at the expense of the other 99%. This is sometimes called: Trickle down economics, free market fundamentalism, crony capitalism… Each supports the notion of taking care of the people at the very top. Dan DeFoe thinks a new cryptocurrency can help change this.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, he founded https:\/\/www.nnpkoin.is<\/a>. “This site has one simple purpose: to pioneer a cryptocurrency for us and our fellow global family to support income inequality and shine the light on wealth concentration,” said DeFoe. “This currency will serve one central purpose: To fund and support individuals, peoples, groups, organizations, programs and events that are non-political and non-religious and whose primary focus is to balance the scales of global inequality with a digital currency specific to balancing the scales of global equality.”<\/p>\n

Think of using NNPKoin instead of FIAT or another cryptocurrency as a way to support finding a solution for one specific global issue, similar to buying stamps, war bonds or stocks for a specific cause. The funds raised by NNPKoin will only be used to help balance the scales of global inequality.<\/p>\n

“We don’t support or endorse and are not endorsed or supported by any religious or political group or organization,” said DeFoe. “As a global initiative, we will never support any particular religious or political organization. We are strictly an independent group endeavoring to develop a currency specifically designed to fund and support individuals, peoples, groups, organizations, programs and events that are non-political and non-religious and whose primary focus is to balance the scales of global inequality.”<\/p>\n

By way of a distinction it is important to note that NNPKoin has no affiliation and is not endorsed by, or supported by the “We are the 99%” movement (http:\/\/wearethe99percent.us) made popular by the “Occupy” campaign in 2011.<\/p>\n

“Not everyone can help support the project financially, we understand that.
