Dr. Brenda Jefferson Presents: Ladies and Lyrics “Churchin’ Edition”<\/div>\n

About this Event<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the past 5 years, the ministry has hosted its annual youth benefit concert entitled, Ladies and Lyrics. The annual benefit concert hosted by Dr. Brenda Jefferson is designed to be a fundraising effort to fuel the ministry’s “Stop The Violence” youth initiative.<\/p>\n

The initiative provides after school programming ranging from dance to technology classes for youth within the Tampa Bay area in efforts to keep them off the streets and providing a productive outlet. A portion of the proceeds from the concert will go directly toward the youth initiative.<\/p>\n

Since its conception in 2014, the concert featuring a host of songs written by Dr. Brenda Jefferson has had between 700-1000 people in attendance and have been honored to have Gospel music industry’s best Bishop William Murphy III, Vickie Winans, and Dr. Donald Lawrence serve as its host. The concert has also featured various artists such as Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Stephen Hurd, Latice Crawford, C. Ashley Brown to name a few.<\/p>\n

This year, we are excited to welcome Gospel Award-winning artist Kurt Carr as the host. The concert will feature Gospel industry greats, Lisa Page-Brooks, Beverly Crawford, Lisa Knowles Smith, and Jasmin Walton.<\/p>\n
